ABOUT DANIEL

 

 

I am a self-though IT professional and cartoonist. I work for many years in IT support and information security. However, what I really love is digital and creative arts.  

 

I use and enjoy game development tools like Unity 3D, Blender, Substance Painter and C# programming. Additionally, I work with CS3 Flash creating animation content to some clients on Youtube and art assets for apps and games as a freelancer. I began digital drawing with OpenCanvas and 3d modelling with Sculptris.

 

So it was superb to find out that a "commoner" like me could try out and further engross in digital development! After discovering the wonderful creation tools and the C# language I became amazed by the possibilities. Although it is a great deal of work, this is what I love to do! An old childhood dream has come true.

 

Is astonishing to see an idea taking form in front of our eyes.

 

I really cherish living in an age where we are able to put our imagination to work and create a game or app, from scratch. This is a huge empowerment. 

 

Moreover, It blows my mind to realise that most of what I know came from a group of great people on the internet that were willing to put out tutorials and share knowledge.

 

Furthermore, I would not have the driving force need it to learn this difficult occupation without the support of my devoted and kind wife that gave me the incentive to continues projects, even when I got stuck in ideas, uncertainties and faced a little blue. She always cheers me up!

 

And, last but not least, I praise immensely my parents and generous brother that support me in following this.
